Parere Pare

Born on the road into a merchant family, Parere has spent most of her life traveling. Growing up she learned how to peddle from her parents and tried her best to assist them. But at the age of eleven, she lost her parents in the Garlemald attack on Mor Dhona. Her life too would have been lost that day if not for a Garlean soldier who saved her life and helped her escape to safety, and who died in doing so. As soon as she was old enough she signed up with the adventurers guild, hoping to become a great adventurer for the soldier never got the chance.However, after a gruesome delve into some allagan ruins that left her maimed and near death, she retired from the adventuring life and instead dedicated herself to the merchant trade. However, the thought of trying again is never far off from her mind.In recent times she has somewhat settled down in Ishgard, opening up a store there.

Parere is often found frequenting bars enjoying a good drink, as is her want. And if there is one thing that goes well with a good drink it is good conversation and she is more than happy to oblige, always excited to hear a good story or to make a new friend.
If she isn't getting drunk at some far-off bar there's a good chance you can find her tended to her store In Ishgard "Pareres Paraphernalia."Things that people notice right are her eyepatch and the scar neath it and her thick accent, which seems to be a mix of quite the collection. And given she can speak at least a handful of languages sometimes random words get mixed up in her speech.

Those who frequent places like advenruting guilds might have heard unflattering rumors about a Parere Pare, calling her a coward. And one in particular rumor that she led a party to their deaths, taking the riches afterword.

Some locals in Kugane sometimes talk about how a tiny woman dualed a mighty samurai and took off his leg with a mighty shining strike. A local gang never seems to appreciate the story when the hear it...

Ire of captain Steelmaw
A fearsome pirate captain by the name of "Steelmaw" has put up a bounty for any info, or delivery to him, of a Lalafell woman matching the description of Parere Pare. The amount being offered is quite staggering, it makes one wonder what this woman must have done to him...
